HEC release July ’21 wages in the middle of a worker strike

Ranchi: The tension is valid at the Engineering Corporation Headquarters Ltd.
(HEC) in Dhurwa here on Monday after the part of the worker continued with a strike for the 40th day at the company gate and joining political party leaders, including Congress, CPI, CPM, CPI (ML) and RJD.
Political party leaders say unless the request of workers for the release of immediate increase in wages is fulfilled, the strike will be converted into mass movements.
The strike continued even when management HEC released another month (July 2021) wages and workers said they would continue the strike until all the pending wages were paid.
Agitation T began on December 2, 2021, to demand payment of wages immediately waiting for the past six months, crippling the PSU which was driven by a 58-year-old debt.
However, it managed to convince the workers’ part to start working after that several product orders were sent.
Following strikes, security was enhanced at the HEC headquarters with additional reinforcements for the Central Industrial Security Force and the State Police.
Security was also tightened at the State Secretariat, side by side with HEC headquarters, as a precautionary measure.
Although HEC is called the leaders of workers who are striking for talks, there is no consensus that can be achieved.
