Ranchi: Talks between the Director of the Chairperson of HEC-Managing, Dr.
Nalin Sching and representatives of eight unions on Thursday failed to withdraw ice during a strike of eight days.
Shingal and union leaders sat to talk around 1pm and continue until 7pm.
After the meeting, the union leaders said that talks failed because HEC management failed to produce a concrete road map to clean all extraordinary wages.
Nearly 3,000 HEC workers are in unlimited strikes since December 2, demanding their extraordinary wage permission for more than six months.
The strike has stopped production on three sick PSU units – Foundry, combat mills and heavy machine tools, and heavy machine manufacturing factories.
The strike also affects the deadline for sending HEC from the railway, defense, space and other sectors.
Speaking with Toi after the meeting, UNI President Previous Mazdoor, Bhawan Singh, said, “Management HEC offers to pay a one-month wage but fails to determine with how much the payment date will be made.
It is also unclear on the remaining month wages.
CMD can only ensure it Return the canteen allowance which was stopped earlier this year.
From our side, we assure that workers will ensure the implementation of all jobs if payment of timely wages is guaranteed.
“He added,” We now leave without choice but to continue with our tool strike until our wages are paid full.” The source said the monthly hec bill for wages flowed to more than Rs 7 Crore.
With unpaid workers for six months and the last executive also, leaving without salary for the past seven months, HEC needed around Rs 45 Crore to clean all wages and incredible salaries.
