Hyderabad: All residents are arranged to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in the old city of Hyderabad after removal of the lock and restrictions by the state government.
People move freely on the market to buy cattle who arrive from various states.
Busy activities, Eid-Ul-Adha, are known as sacrifice festivals, which fall on 10 days from the Islamic month of Zil-Hujjah.
The market is filled with activities because more and more people attack to buy livestock and food ingredients in several places in the old city.
Traffic looks slowing on many points because animal sacrifice points are arranged along the roadside.
Many people make the way to the sale points of livestock in Chanchalguda, City College, Khilwat, Falaknuma, Darulshifa, Hussai Alam, Jiyaguda, Jirrah, Ring Road, Bahadurpura, Mehdipatnam, Nanal Nagar and Towli Chowki.
Shepherds from Karnataka and Maharashtra were reportedly not happy with the sale at Khilwat Ground.
“The shepherds of Karnataka and Maharashtra are upset with sales and prices.
However, we provide basic facilities and space for livestock on the ground,” said Mohammed Gouse, Mim Co-Corporator from Ghansi Bazaar.
