Jaipur: For almost eight months after an unknown man stopped the bus on the highway near the Canota and robbed two bags carrying gold from passengers, the police had arrested three accused of alleged involvement of them.
The incident took place on February 3, when one Mohammad Yusuf filed firs at the Canota Police Station who accused him of traveling with a private bus from Lucknow to Sikar.
A car stopped in front of the bus near the tunnel on the highway, about three people from the car entering the bus and forcibly took him out of the bus.
They robbed two bags and fled.
Yusuf initially reported on the cage to the police that his bag contained a handful of chocolate, toiletries, and several clothes.
However, what he expressed was that he also taught a large number of gold in both bags.
Canota police grow suspicious about the complainant and confirm through various sources that the man did carry gold.
According to ACP (Kanota), Sukeshhla, FIR did not mention anything about good gold complainants talking about it until the police knew about gold items.
“Introduction Investigations confirm our suspicion that the bag containing more than the complainants has revealed us.
We formed a special team and arrested three accused on Sundays,” he said.
He said that four suspects were arrested in June and with three held on Sundays, a total of seven defendants had been arrested in case so far.
The police have recovered 781 grams of gold money and Rs 9.50 lakh from the defendant.
All three were accused of being held on Wednesday and identified they were disclosed on Sundays.
They have been registered as Shaid Khan, Imtiaz, and Sattar Khan.
