Helping Hands: People realize the power of mutual support

Nagpur: Even though the pandemic makes a mandatory physical pause in both waves, it is a kindness and multiple participants who bring humanity together as a community and society.
The first key is the time of testing for many people.
While the government, political clothing, associations and NGOs continue to help people with all their strengths, unique spirit helps each other at the personal level experienced.
Individuals take help and raise help for those in need.
During locking, many foods and money are donated to those in need in their personal capacity.
Many even donate cellphones to students for their online class.
It is impossible to arrange a blood donor camp so that voluntary blood donors regulate blood for those who need regular transfusion.
In difficult times, people realize that even individuals can make a big difference.
“People go out of their way to help others during a pandemic,” said the famous social worker Khushroo Poacha.
“It is the responsibility of social organizations and dedicated groups like us to help people.
But hundreds of such people, who are not related to any group or NGO, advance in their personal capacity and help others,” he said.
Poacha also thanked the donors who were generously donated for his work.
“It’s okay to be donated in the first wave.
But when the second wave struck, many people are not in a position to take money.
Still, in the second wave, we got great support from the local and also Nris,” he said.
There are several heroes who get recognition through the media.
Toi highlights many contributions from them through the series titled ‘Lockown Heroes’.
However, there are many unsung heroes, who do their work quietly and become part of the crowd again.
“During the second wave, we pay attention to some people who help patients who need to get a bed.
Even before the NMC began to put the information platform, these people actively call hospitals all the time,” said Dr.
beat Deshpande, a resident doctor of the GMCH Work at Covid Hospital.
Toi talks with at least 25 such people who donate food in their personal capacity or provide oxygen concentrators and drugs to those in need.
They said, not their names, but the spirit of helping the need to be highlighted because this practice must continue post-covid.
“Many families are positively tested during the second wave.
I used to call a family like that and ask if they need food, vegetables, medicines and milk,” said a 19-year-old student.
“I used to leave the parcels near their closed door.
They used to transfer money to my account.
I don’t think I did a great one.
But I still have a screens’ catch from their message full of gratitude that brings a smile to my face,” he said , add, many people do things like that during locking and realizing the power to help.
For general causes * Health care workers work hard to take care of people * Teachers adjust the online format to teach students * Foodstore works for hours to ensure home delivery * Restaurants shift to home.
, the beds are sought for those who need * many providing cooked foods, groceries, and financial assistance to those who lose income * many are advanced to respond with kindness and hope * Good examples of community services witnessed
