Bhubaneswar: The state government on Thursday issued telephone numbers from skilled mental health professionals to expand their psychological first aid and other support for Covid-19 positive / recover patients and those who suffer from mental illness.
The government will provide mental health services this district.
With the help of the Mental Health Institute (MHI) SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack.
It has provided three telephone numbers for each district to consult with professionals without visiting hospitals during a pandemic.
“This Helpline number will function from 10am to 17:00 between Monday and Saturday.
Every district has a mental health professional to solve the problem of people who suffer from mental health problems.
They can also receive assistance from MHI,” said an official.
