Here’s the iPhone feature that might come to MacBooks

Apple recently launched a public beta version of various operating system updates, including MacOS.
MacOS Monterey version 12.3 presents universal control – one of the most awaited features – but also reported to get Ultra Wideband or UWB to MacBooks.
According to a report by 9to5mac, MacOS Monterey 12.3 Beta version has a framework and daemon needed to support UWB technology.
The report said that this was the exact same tool used for UWB support on iOS devices.
What is UWB technology and its superiority? Ultra Wideband is a wireless protocol that uses radio waves for communication.
For those who do not know, Apple first introduced UWB with the iPhone 11 two years ago.
Apple puts the U1 chip on the iPhone to make UWB work.
Technology has been running to Apple Watch, Airtags and Mini Homepods.
UWB is used for location tracking the location of the device that has UWB support.
It also helps in faster airdrop, airplay transfers and in countries where it supports, users can obtain Carkey authentication without taking the iPhone from their pockets.
Also, it helps in tracking the location of the right device using my network.
It would be interesting to see how Apple combines UWB on a Mac computer.
The new iPad model also does not display Ultra Wideband technology.
So we can’t say whether the next MacBook will have a U1 chip or another plan that Apple might have for UWB for the computer.
Also, keep in mind that it is a feature found in the beta version and may not be launched for the public version at all.
It gives an indicator that Mac can also get UWB in some forms or others in the future.
