The iPhone 13 was finally launched by Apple.
Technology giants, in step to reduce plastic use, have removed plastic wrap from the iPhone 13 box.
Instead of plastic, the iPhone 13 box is now equipped with a paper tab along the box, from the bottom end, secured in place with the help of adhesives.
To open it, tear strips have been provided.

With this change in a box design, Apple claims that it will help avoid 600 metric tons of plastic.
The company plans to be free of plastic on all the packaging from 2025.
