Nagpur: Heritage conservation committee has enabled Ravan branches in Kasturchand Park (KP).
The panel chaired by former Director of Neer Neer Chakrabarti allowed Sanatan Dharma Yuvak Sabha to hold a Ravan Dahan program, which was held every year to celebrate the Vijayadashami Festival (Dussehra), in KP.
This event will be held on October 15 this year.
Permissions have been given to prepare for the event from October 5 to October 16.
However, parking is only two wheels will be permitted in KP for the event.
The panel has asked the organizers to establish barricades around Bandstand, which is also a legacy structure.
It has also asked the organizers to get a certificate not mind from Mahametro because the KP metro station has begun to function.
The panel has declined permits earlier this year, after the organization approached the High Court.
The panel also requested the submission of the plan to develop Zero Mile and Kasturcand Park before that, and asked the authorities concerned to clear the bushes that had grown in Zero Mile and KP.
The panel asked the Gandhibagh executive engineer Zone Dhananjay Mendulkar to visit and check whether there was an invalid construction at the Murlidhar Temple on Jalan Keibagh, expensive.
If found, the actions needed under the Maharashtra Regional City Planning Law must begin, the panel is recorded.
