Mumbai: The NCB is intercepted by a plot of 700 grams of Heroin worth RS 4 Crore hidden in a handbag, at the International Courier Terminal at the Chhatrapati Terminal Shivaji Maharaj International.
NCB has also arrested a vadodara resident in this relationship.
Based on specific information, the NCB Mumbai unit was intercepted by gifts at the International Courier Terminal at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International terminal in Andheri and confiscated 700 grams of heroin which was hidden in the bag and was declared a document.
The drug was sourced from Afghanistan and smuggled to India through South Africa and Addi Ababa.
The package was destined for Vadodara, where the NCB team was led by Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede was caught recipient, Krishna Murari Prasad, red – hand.
