DIPHU:”two men, including a desired woman drug merchant, were detained and heroin worth Rs crore was captured from their ownership at Assam’s Karbi Anglong district on Thursday,” authorities said.
“According to inputs supplied by arrested peddlers on a Dimapur-based girl running a massive medicine racket, police employees introduced as potential clients who wished to purchase decent excellent heroin,” an officer said.
“Although the girl was initially unwilling, she consented to deliver the medication and has been nabbed, combined with someone else, using 164 packs of high quality heroin weighing 2.12 kg in Janak Pukhuri at Khatkhati police station place,” he explained.
“The girl, called’Didi’ (elder sister) by medication purchasers, has been diagnosed as Th Paone by Manipur who allegedly offered drugs to areas such as Nagaon, Morigaon and Guwahati in Assam,” the officer stated.
