Ludhiana: High-level drama witnessed at Ukkar Nagar on Tuesday during the Demolition Drive conducted by the corporation of Ludhiana City when residents oppose strong encouragement.
The population showed anger against MC officials because they did not take action against illegal buildings in areas included in the Congress council members and they came in the area to destroy the base where people had maintained plants.
But the arguing argument and manehandling witnessed in place.
Citizenship officials claimed that it was in the insult of the direction of the High Court that they had gone to eliminate encroachment but people opposed the urge.
The police could not control the people who leveled allegations of the Congress leader to build illegal multi-floors in the area and if people raised a voice against him, he sent MC officials to take off the base.

Residents tried to stop officials from removing slopes by sitting and standing in front of the JCB engine.
The police had to remove the protesters by pushing them back.

But the situation changed strained and heated arguments occurred between the population and officials.
Officials claimed that they dampened around a dozen illegal structures but in several locations, the community tried to interfere.
Hue and crying were appointed in the area that invited the attention of passengers and the closest residents too.
Madanjit Bedi’s city assistant planner said there were around 35 encroachment in the area and they eliminate all despite public interference.
He said they had served previous notifications because they had to submit a reply in court in 15 days.
He said the commissioner MC must be present in court for reply.
He said they removed encroachment in the road and the building about where people complained complained of returning and MC had collected Rs 20 Lakh from the Congress leader.
