New Delhi: Rich countries in India have reported a high number of Covid deaths while their poor colleagues have registered far less fatality, the Bank of State India (SBI) report has been found.
According to the report, the countries with high per capita GDP were associated with Covid deaths per million while they were with low per capita GDP associated with low Covid death.
Thus, countries such as Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh have reported their height per million Covid deaths.
Maharashtra, with almost 1,000 deaths per million populations, is the worst condition in terms of death.
It is also a hit country in India with more than 6.1 million cases since last year’s outbreak.
