High positivity in some states can spur the next wave: government

New Delhi: Even because the overall covid participant level has been less than 3% for more than a month now, countries such as Kerala, Manipur, Rajasthan, Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya still have a large number of districts with significant weekly participants above 10% , causing concern in the middle that this can trigger the next wave with the absence of tight micro level detention.
It is also among the upper states, along with Maharashtra, witnessing an increase in active cases.
While 47 districts have a positive position above 10%, at 55 ranges from 5-10%, official data from the July 14-20 show.
While Jaisalmer in Rajasthan has the highest level of participants in more than 41%, other districts in the state such as civilian committee, Baran, Jhalawar, Tonk and Rajsamand also have significantly high participants.
In Kerala, nine districts include Mallapuram, Kasaragod, Kozhikode, Palakkad and Thrissur have a high level of participation.
In the southern district of Sikkim and Nagaland Kohima too, the tariff is above 30%.
The center has suggested these countries and districts to focus on aggressive testing and detention steps.
While increasing mouse testing, all countries have also been asked to continue to improve RT-PCR testing, which is a gold standard of Covid diagnosis.
