New Delhi: Rapid Radial Radial 82-Km-Meerut (RRTS) transit system will not only pass the Median road Delhi-Meerut (formerly NH-58) but also cross the river, bridge, crossroads, metro corridor, freeway, etc.
This project will see the use of ‘special spans’ to bridge the gap wherever the corridor must cross the existing natural structure or feature.
India’s first RRTS corridor was being built by CPERS Transport Corporation (NCRTC) and out of a total of 82 km, a total of 70 km from the corridor corridor increased.
Two special ranges with adjustable forms come between Sahibabad and Ghaziabad.
NCRTC spokesman said that to build an increase in the RRTS corridor bridge, the corporation established a pier (pillar) at an average distance of around 34 meters.
“However, maintaining the distance between the pier is not possible in some complex areas where the corridor is set to cross the river, bridges, rail crossings, metro corridors, freeways, or other public infrastructure,” he said.
All corridors are targeted to be completed in 2025.
This is a ‘special range’ place, which is a mammoth civil structure with a beam made of structural steel, appears in a picture.
Two special spans like that come between Sahibad and Ghaziabad, with adjustable shapes, height, design, and weight, he said.
One range was being established in Vasundhara, which is 73 meters long and weighs 850 tons, to cross the railroad crossing.
“NCRTC takes all steps to ensure Indian train services that run below are not affected and construction work is finished on time,” he said.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has used the concrete and steel range in the location where building pillars to support guava is not yet possible.
The longest of this is 100 meters for 100 meters and built in Okhla in South Delhi to cross four train tracks.
“NCRTC builds a special range in a factory which is then transported to sites in trailers at night to avoid a lot of traffic and gather in a systematic way with the help of special cranes,” he said.
“The size and structure of this steel structure is designed aesthetically designed first, in line with the overall requirements of construction, installation and use,” he added.
NCRTC has been able to build 900 dermong and 10 km from the bridge, mostly located in a 17 km priority section between Sahibabad and Duhai in Uttar Pradesh, which is targeted to be assigned in March 2023, while the entire corridor is targeted to be completed by 2025.
