ThiruvananThapuram: All institutions of higher education, including technical, polytechnic and medical, will be permitted to operate from October 4 and so on for students in the past year, Chief Minister Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan said on Tuesday.
However, the main minister said that the re-elancis of the institution would be subject to conditions that all students last year, faculty and staff received at least the first dose of vaccination.

Those who qualified for the second dose must immediately take it, he said.
He further said that class 10 and 12 students were very important and therefore, school teachers must also be sure to resolve their vaccination this week.
He directed the Ministry of Public Education and height to make the necessary arrangements and said that school teachers would be given priority in vaccination.
The department concerned is directed by it to take the steps needed in this matter in ten days.
