Shimla: Following the threat by Khalistani activist based in US Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, Police Himachal Pradesh has increased the security categorization of the Minister of Chief Justice of JAI Ram Thakur, National President of BJP J P Nadda and the Union Minister.
Pannu, who claimed to be a general advisor for Sikh for Justice, said that he would not allow the Minister of Chief Justice Jai Ramur to lift tricolor on independence day.
The threat runs into the administration through audio recordings received by many journalists on Friday morning.
The recording came from various numbers where the message was given to the Himachal government that on August 15, SFJ would not allow Jai Ram Thakur to lift Tricolor India.
The organization, which called for the “release” of Punjab, in a further message says once they release their punjab will ensure that they take over the areas in the Himachal Pradesh area which was once part of Punjab.
The message asked farmers and pro-khalisatni Sikh to come out and bring their tractors to stop Jai Ram Thakur from Hoisting Tricolor.
Reacting to this, CM Jai Ram Thakur said that he would unfold tricolor anytime and wherever he would get the chance to do so.
He said that he would see this problem and would discuss this issue with security agents.
He said that he didn’t really care about such messages.
Himachal Pradesh DGP Sanjay Kundu said that the police took all the necessary steps in this matter and had shared information through channels that fit the center and country.
He said that the head of the intelligence agent based in Shimla had been told.
He said that strict vehicle screening at the entry point of the state border was confirmed.
He said that cyber cells from Himachal Pradesh were also looking for problems.
