He said that the wave of sympathy for late Virbhadra Singh also played a major role because the Congress took the lead in Rampi, Kinnaur, Bharmur and other tribal areas.
The minister further added that around 13,000 votes surveyed under the note also played their role.
The leader of the senior Congress and former Minister Sudhir Sharma said that Congress campaigned in the separator under the set strategy.

State President BJP Suresh Kashyap said that the results of the scoring did not come according to BJP expectations.
