Himachal HC looks for details in orphans because of Covid

Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh High Court has directed the country to provide information about the children who have orphans or lose one of their parents because of Covid-19.
Courts also seek information about actions taken by the state to help or rehabilitate such children.
The division bench consisting of acting Chief Judge Ravi Malimath and Justice Jyotsna Rewal Two passed these commands with litigation of public interests and other petitions that highlight inadequate facilities and infrastructure in Himachal, to handle pandemics.
The court has directed senior advocates in general to record material about these children and post this issue for August 11 for further hearing.
During hearing on Wednesday, the court observed that in terms of July 28, reports had been received from the deputy commissioner, several came on Wednesday.
Therefore, at the request of Amicus Curiae, these things delayed to consider the contents of the report submitted by DCS, said the court.
Public senior additional advocacy handed over that additional efforts and inputs will be included in the districts where Apple harvest will take place and treatment taken to ensure that the workforce enters the country vaccinated with the available state resources.
