New Delhi: The Himachal Pradesh government on Monday decided to reopen all educational institutions in the state of February 1 with strict compliance with Covid-19 guidelines.
In accordance with the information, the state government to open schools for grade 9 to 12 with a capacity of 50 percent.
The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by the Head of State Minister Jai Ram Thakur.

Meanwhile, the country reported 1,714 fresh Covid-19 cases with eight deaths.
New cases took the whole case tally to 2,69,291, while the death toll rose to 3,969, he said.
Among the dead, six were men and two women, all between the ages of 40 and 85 years.
The two deaths were respectively reported in Kangra, Shimla, and Chamba and each in Una and Kullu, said the official.
Shimla reported 492 new cases, the highest among all districts.
