Manali: height and center of Himachal, including Manali tourist cities, Dalhousie and Kufri, experienced fresh snow spells on Friday, while many parts of the country were touted in very cold conditions.
Dalhousie and Triund experienced the first snow this season, while Manali, Kufri and Narcade watched their second snow.
Lahaul Valley, the top of the culp, bath, kinnaur, Chamba and Kangra also receive fresh snow.
Solang Valley, Kothi, Kothi, North and South Portal Atal Tunnel, Koksar, JISPA, Bharmur and surrounding areas become fresh snow.
With this, other cold waves have gripped the country with a minimum and maximum temperature of 2 to 3 degrees below normal in the last 24 hours.
At minus 8 degrees Celsius, Keylong is the coldest in the state, followed by Kalpa (minus 4.4), Dalhousie (minus 2.8) and Kufri (minus 2).
Both Solan and Shimla recorded a minimum temperature at minus 0.2 degrees C.
Shimla recorded the coldest night this season in minus 0.2 degrees C on Wednesday and Thursday.
Mercury in Manali settled at 0.6 degrees C and the minimum Dharamshala temperature was 2.2 degrees C.
The traffic movement to higher areas in the state had been influenced by the snow.
