Coimbatore: Hindu clothes are ready to protest the demolition of the temple along Muthanankulam Bund.
City Corporation has destroyed seven small temples in the Bund east of the lake for several past as part of the expulsion of drive encroachment on Tuesday.
While the six idols from the temple were given to the public in the region, one idol was stored at the Corporation office.
Hindu Munnani said the Civic’s body destroyed only Hindu temples in the name of removal of encroachment.
Clothing, led by the President of the Kadeshawara Subramaniam country, plans to protest in front of the Corporation City office on Friday.
Some Hindu clothes are more planning to hold similar protests.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad demanded City Corporation to provide alternative land to build temples.
