Varanasi: right before the beginning of the Hindu Hindu Shravan, the Muslim community has announced a prize for Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust (SKVtt) in the form of a piece of 1,700 square feet, adjacent to the Gyanvapi mosque for the development of Kashi Vishwanath Dham (corridor).

Speaking with Toi on Friday, the Commissioner Division Deepak Agrawal said, “The property provided by the Muslims is owned by the Wakf Council and the Gyanvapi-KVT control room is located on this land.
Because the land is needed for the development of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, we offer a plot of land to They (Muslim communities) on the main road and they agreed.
“” It takes almost two years to make an exchange agreement, “said SM Yasin from Anjuman Insezamiya Masarid, adding that the License of the Council of Sunni Waqf Council and the opinion of all scholars was taken before the agreement.
“All agreed, and the deal was resolved peacefully.
There was no pressure from the government side,” Yasin told Ti on Friday.
“The existing dispute regarding the ASI survey in court has nothing to do with this agreement.
We hope it will provide a communal harmony message,” he added.
