New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday said “The Hindutvawadisi always spread hatred and violence” and all communities pay the price.
He said India opposed violence and this should not happen again.
The former Chief of Congress made a statement while referring to ‘Dharma Sansad’ held at Ved Niketan Dham in Haridwar from December 17-20 where hatred speech was allegedly made against a community.
The event was organized by Yati Narasimhanand Giri from Juna Akhada, who was under police scanner to make hatred speech and incite violence against Muslims.
“Hindutvavadis always spread hatred and violence.
Muslim-Muslim-Sikhs-Christians pay the price.
But no longer!” Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet in Hindi with the Hashtags ‘India against the Hindutva’ and ‘Haridwar Hate Assembly’.
The Secretary General of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also demanded the most rigorous action against those who spread hatred and violence.
“Strict action must be taken against those who incite this kind of hatred and violence.
It was despicable that they had to go by making open calls to kill our former PM respected and release violence against people from different communities,” he said.
Indonesia.
“Such actions violate our constitution and our land law,” Priyanka Gandhi Vadra added.
A pine has been put forward against Jitendra Narayan Tyagi and the others in connection with the alleged hatred speech submitted at Dharma Sansad in Haridwar to incite violence against the minorities, police said on Friday.

FIR has been registered based on complaints by the residents of the Jalapur region in Haridwar.
Asked about the video clip distributed on social media, the official said the police did not have a footage of the event.
The TMC senior leader has demanded an immediate action on Thursday against the organizers and the speaker of the event held at Ved Niketan Dham in Haridwar for three days last week.
