MUMBAI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday ran a raid in former’encounter specialist’ police officer Pradeep Sharma’s house in suburban Andheri in Mumbai early Thursday in connection with its own research to the’Antilia’ bomb scare case and Mansukh Hiran’s murder,” an officer said.
An NIA team combined with armed forces with Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel raided Sharma’s home situated in J B Nagar at Andheri west 6 am, ” the officer said.
A search has been completed, ” he explained.
According to sources,” Sharma is also being challenged by the NIA staff in relation to the situation.
Roads leading to the construction, in which Sharma resides, have been cordoned off from the fundamental security forces and general motion in the region was limited.
After obtaining the info regarding the weapon, the Mumbai police deployed its employees at the place.
Formerly, Sharma was questioned from the NIA for 2 days in its office in south Mumbai within the stunt.
The fundamental identification agency had previously detained former police officers Sachin Waze, Riyazuddin Kazi, Sunil Mane, former police constable Vinayak Shinde and championships bookie Naresh Gour due to their participation in the situation.
