New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the history of new connectivity was being written in the northeast, and announced that the work to connect the state capital in the region with train services will be finished soon.
During his independence day speech, Modi said many parts of the country – whether East, Northeast, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Ladakh, including the entire Himalayan region, coastal belt or tribal area – will be a large base for future Indian development.
“Very fast, the work connects all the capitals of northeastern state with train services will be completed,” said Modi, added that the area was connected with Bangladesh, Myanmar and Southeast Asia.
