JIND: Flower manufacturers in Haryana are struck hard again because of lockdown, that has resulted in declines in crores statewide.
Since there isn’t any requirement for blossoms, they are made to plough tractors within their flowering plants.
The farmers are currently looking for compensation in the Haryana government.
Lately, two farmers at Ahirka village of Jind area have been made to destroy their status blossom crops this season also.
Kuldeep Singh, that develops flowers after taking property contract and also ploughed tractors on 4.5 acre blossom plants.

Sometime after Vikram Singh destroyed harvest in 2.5 acre this season and five acre this past year.
Largely farmers of Ahirka, Amarheri and Haibatpur villages, adjacent Jind town, develop flowers plants at large scale each year and provide it at local markets and domestic capital also.
Farmers said plants in approximately 50 acres were ruined from 1 village that put them beneath a debt.
Speaking to TOI, Sukhdev Singh, also a native of Ahirka village and flower grower, stated farmers are rising seven types of blossoms in Jind district, such as marigold, rose, tuberose and Godavari.
These were provided to political and marriage events largely.
“We was able to make around Rs 70,000 per acre per year later bearing all of the costs.
Flower plants prepare in just four to six weeks consequently farmers cultivate two crops per year.
I’ve been growing blossom plants for the previous 18 decades and never confronted such reduction since now.
Other farmers receive reimbursement if their plants are ruined but blossom growers are feeling deprived.
Farmers of Jind, Karnal, Sonipat, Panipat, along with Kurukshetra mostly involved blossom growing who obtained an estimated loss of more than 100 crore through the lockdowns,” he further added.
