Letter: The 38-year-old property broker in the Posh Umra area was arrested by the police on Monday for allegedly selling rebotted duplicate whiskey as a premium brand.
Allegations acknowledged the police that he was forced to use illegal business without business due to the financial crisis of the pandemic and severe.
Police arrested Kalpesh aka Lalchand aka Samariya after the attack at his home produced 16 bottles of 180 ml, stickers from several brands of premium whiskey and the boxes.
The police also found bottling machines used to apply seals to bottles to make it look like the original product.
The police said that the defendant was awarding alcohol, color, essence, label, bottle cap and plaid from its suppliers in Rajasthan.
Police are now looking for suppliers accused of supplying material to Samariya.
“The defendant started an illegal business five months ago due to the financial crisis.
In the absence of a business he found this way to make money,” Umra police said.
The defendant bought an empty bottle from a used shop and after cleaning it, filling this with his made liquid.
He applies brand stickers according to customer’s request.
Ordinary people come to buy liquor from their homes.
“We are testing the matwerial to verify the type of alcohol and other substances that he uses,” police said.
