Hit by Train, Rly Ex-Staff Dies

Thiruvananthapuram: A retired train employee was reported to run on the train on Sunday at Chirayinkezhu outside the city.
Radhamani, 64, from Bhavan, Sarkara near Chirayinkezhu is the deceased.
Police Chiraykezhu has registered a case and launched the probe into a situation that caused an accident.
The police said that the accident was suspected of happening at around 15:30 a.m.
near the cross-level gate in Sarkara.
His house was located nearby and the police suspected that the accident might occur when he crossed the railroad without realizing the incoming train.
He is an employee of the wing of train information.
He lived with his mother and sister at their ancestral home in Kollam for the past few days.
He returned home for Sarkara on Sunday afternoon.
