Raipur: Maois is not the only problem in the bastar today.
Covid-19 brought havoc, among the same guerrillas and plain.

Bijapur led the table with 554 cases, followed by Sukma (506), Bastar (249), Dantewada (245), Kankeer (140), Kondagaon (60) and Narayanpur (60).
Since the plague, 668 people have died of Covid in the Bastar area, say health officials.
The majority of Bastar’s deaths have come in recent months.
Maois was also hit.
The member of the Haribhushan Central Committee and his wife were among several rebel leaders who had died of Covid, police said.
In vaccination, The Tribal Heartland has many things to do.
A little more than 1.7 lakh – or 18.4% – from 6.4 Lakh populations that qualified in the Bastar division were fully vaccinated.
About 7.6 lakh has taken their first dose, which shows speed has taken lately.
Asked why there was a surge in Covid cases in Bastar, Director of Health with Division Dr.
Anandram Gota said, “The Covid case began to increase after the Sogger movement in Sukma on May 15, where thousands of villagers had protested against the murder of three tribes in clashes with security personnel.
