Hit supply, Vax Drive slows down at K’Taka after a yoga day record

Bengaluru: Drive Vaccination, Launched on June 21, slowed in Karnataka due to a short dose supply and this has deactivated the government’s plan to cover at least 80% of the adult population in October when the third wave is expected to regard.
The state set a record by giving 11.6 lakh doses on June 21.

‘It is necessary to ensure that 3 lakh people attached every day, the supply is adequate until last Friday when we are investigating 9,500 people.

This center was given 400 doses once in two days after last Saturday but the stock drained on Tuesday.
“We have been told that the new stock will arrive on Wednesday morning,” he added.
The official said the government’s priority to vaccinated the non-teaching teachers and staff ahead of the SSLC exam was taking the main pieces.

“We must ensure at least 3 lakh people are inoculated every day, including 1 lakh in Bengaluru, if we want to minimize the third wave impact , “said Taskforce member.
Minister of Health K Sudhakar will ask the Minister of Health Union Harsh Vardhan in New Delhi on Monday for Increase vaccination allocation for carnataka.
“We have stock 5 doses of lakh and the next consignment will soon arrive.
We maintain the daily average of politicocating 2-3 lakh people every day.
Stock never dries,” he said.
