Coimbatore: Detection of bombs and disposal forces (BDDs) and dog sniffers searches on Coimbatore Junction Railway Station and the train ordering office on Friday morning after a man made a call to the city police stating that two people plan to plant a bomb there.
After the search, the police said it was a deception.
However, the train protection forces personnel continued to inspect passenger goods.
The call was made by Senthilkumar K Vadamadurai near Thudiangur in Coimbatore district around 7am.
The man said when he was sleeping in Peron on Thursday night, he heard two people sitting on the train discussing planting bombs at the station.
