Coimbatore: Police are looking for a man who threatens to blow up a bomb in the city on Friday.
Koimbatore GS Sameran collector has been on Friday morning receiving a call from a man who speaks English, who tells him that he has planted a bomb that will go at 5 pm.
The man also sent an SMS.
The collector immediately warned the City Police Commissioner Deepak M Damor.
Personal requests revealed that the call was made of Salem City, using a stolen cellphone.
The police tried to track callers, who kept moving from one place to another.
Before they can zero to him, the phone is turned off.
Coimbatore City Police continued the information to the police of Salem City, which formed a special team to arrest the caller.
