Gumla: Simdega, Jharkhand Hockey Center, is waiting Monday to cheer for the Indian women’s hockey team, which will take place in Australia in the quarter-finals at 8:30 a.m., at the Tokyo Olympics.
Two girls from the country – Salima Tete (Simdega) and Nikki Pradhan (Khunti) – are part of the Indian squad.
This is for the first time the women’s national team plays in the quarter-finals at the Olympics.

They will play with Belgium.
