Hyderabad: It makes it clear that changes cannot be carried out in the mode of the Advocate Association of the Telangana High Court after issuing notification of poll, justice T Amarnath Goud on Monday directing the appointed electoral authority to meet the poll schedule announced on June 17.
The poll is scheduled to be held on June 30 in online mode.
The judge gave this direction while hearing the petition filed by Ponnam Ashok Goud, who fought as president, challenging the latest decisions from the authorities to elect through ballot paper.
They said that they had made this change as a request from several candidates.
According to Ashok, the original schedule said that the poll would be held online.
“Change the mode from online to physically after the start of the polling process breaks the law,” he said.
The judge agreed with him and directed the polls authorities to conduct elections through online mode just decided before.
