Ludhiana: The Punjab High Court and Haryana have ordered Commissioner Ludhiana from the police to resist Shimlapuri Sho’s salary and investigative officers (IO) if they failed to arrest the defendant in a fraud case on September 20.
The order also stated that the police in question was a joke in the court process.
The fraud case was registered on December 28, 2018, but the Shimlapuri police did not arrest the defendant or handed Challan.
FIR was filed on complaints Rashpal Singh Hoshiarpur against the defendant identified as Jaswinder Singh, his brothers and sisters, Ajeb Singh and Darshan Singh, from the teacher Nanak Colony-A, and friend Kulpreet Singh.
This case was registered after an investigation by economic violations (EO) of Ludhiana police wing.
It was accused of the defendant running the company in Gill Market near Gill Road and lured people to invest in monetary benefits.
Rashpal Singh’s complainant said the defendant had promised to double his investment.
They have also convinced to give commissions to bring more investors.
The complainant alleged that the defendant accused Rs 50 Crore and fled after turning off their office.
The high court order said the police had not displayed Challan in this case despite the fact that FIR was submitted on December 28, 2018.
Inquiry Guarantee Defendant was also dismissed as being withdrawn on July 9, 2019.
Calling this police attachment as “Basically jokes in the process and court procedures”, orders It stated that the salaries of the case investigation officer and the Sho of the police station concerned must remain until the next hearing if the arrest was not carried out until September 20.
“Police Commissioner, Ludhiana, will submit his personal Affidavit to the date when the defendant was arrested, too, Qua the fact whether the salary above said the official, in fact, stopped or not,” said it.
The Shimlapuri Sho Balkar Singh sub-inspector said he was aware of orders and police tried to track the defendant.
