New Delhi: Grant University (UGC) Commission on Saturday asked universities to conduct examinations for the last year of students on August 31 and start a new academic session on October 1.
UGC in the latest guidelines on examinations and academic calendars remember Covid-19 to all universities and colleges say that it will apply to the current academic session of 2020-21 too.
“Minal semester terminal or the last year’s exam will be mandatory in offline mode (pen & paper) or online or mixed (online + offline) with no more than 31 August 2021 after the prescribed protocol / guidelines related to the covid-19 pandemic” said UGC.

Whereas for the new UGC academic session has asked college to ensure that the acceptance process for undergraduate programs began only after the declaration of results by the CBSE board, ICSE, and the state.
