NEW DELHI: Opposition parties at Delhi targeted the AAP authorities on Tuesday on its decision to let home delivery of spirits in town, stating it”failed” to offer relief to individuals affected by Covid-19 however still is hoping to send alcohol in their doorstep.
Even the Delhi Excise (Amendment) Rules, 2021, informed on Monday, enable permit holders to provide spirits booked via an program or a site in the doorstep of their buyers.

Delhi Congress president Anil Kumar maintained that rather than handling the Covid-19 catastrophe in town, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had been”occupied” ensuring house delivery of spirits.

Describing the AAP government’s choice as a”retrograde move”,” Kumar maintained it will ruin the youth that are already languishing with no any source of livelihood.
