Coimbatore: A unknown man opened a house in Vellalore in the Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu on Monday and stole 20 golden jewelers and cash 30,000 cash.
The robbery took place at Ravichandran’s house, 52, from Indira Nagar in Vellalore.
Ravichandran and his two sons went to work on Monday morning.
The wife, Revathi, and her daughter-in-law locked the house around 1pm and went to their relatives’ house to attend the ritual.
When they returned home around 3pm, they found a broken front door lock and lost valuables.
Family members warned the investigation of Podanur Inspector Wing Kathirvel who rushed to the place with his team and conducted an investigation.
Police collect CCTV reserves.
Further investigation is taking place.
