Greater Noida: greater than 100 households from Nagla Ganeshi have begun building their homes in the new township developed at Jewar Bangar for households that will shift out of the villages which were obtained for Noida International Airport. Gautam Budh Nagar district management along with the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) have held several rounds of discussions with all the villagers and half of the citizens in the region have started the changing procedure. Plots had been allocated to both households impacted by the Jewar airport undertaking. Delayed due to the pandemic and following lockdown, the deadline to the township with over 3,000 plots is June 30. “The allotment procedure is finished. Some pockets at the township are prepared and individuals are being requested to begin building work in these regions,” explained the officer on special duty, YEIDA, Shailendra Bhatia. The government had begun the practice of scheme allocation for 238 households from Nagla Ganeshi during March this year. The prior pradhan of this village, Rohtash Thakur, stated:”Gradually, the whole population of this village will change. Of the 238 households , 110 have started construction homes. We’ve increased some pending problems with the power. Another villagers will begin changing once officials deal with those problems.” He added that individuals constructing homes, but are finding it tough to have employees and building material due to the curfew. “People are demanding that a top to deliver building material to the website and receiving labourers can also be tricky. The villagers will be provided at least three weeks’ period to change after the whole township becomes prepared,” Rohtash stated. Officials stated that only people who’ve been allocated plots at the entire part of the township have been requested to change today. “We’re providing them sufficient time to complete work,” Bhatia said. The dimensions of these plots fluctuates between 50 sqm and 500 sqm plus they have been allocated based on the dimensions of the first homes of the villagers and available courtyard used to store cows, shop agricultural resources and animal fodder. Bhatia included that 3,003 plots are not yet been handed on to the villagers. Even though officials have fenced the airport border, unless villagers are changed from the houses, work on the job cannot start. “The concessionaire made for growing the airport, Yamuna International Airport Private Limited, had initiated the procedure for shortlisting builders. We’re under pressure to find the area vacated and hand it on to the officers in order that work can begin at the first,” said an official. Rohtash added that lately, electricity supply was disconnected in part of Nagla Ganeshi for 3 times. “We alarmed senior officers at Lucknow and advised them concerning the problem. The source was revived after their intervention,” he said, believed that it had been intentionally done.
