Honeytrap gang squeezed the executive at NCR, three captured

Gurgaon: Gang suspected of trapping some MNC executives in NCR after making friends with them at the social mediadi have been explored by police with three arrests of various parts of the city and Delhi.
The police said on Tuesday the three were arrested was the direction of Peerons and allegedly extorting lakh from their target by threatening to involve them in the case of fake rape.
Other gang members are in runaway.
All three, according to the police, will send friend requests to their potential targets – mostly MNC executives – on social media and make friends with them.
After chatting for several days, they will exchange telephone numbers with their target and guide them with text and photos.
They will then invite their victims to the guesthouse in Gurgaon and make their videos in a compromise position.
Furthermore, gang members will extort money from the victims, most of the company’s executives, threatening to submit cases of fake rape against them, according to the police.
In this way, they extorted lakh from their victims in the past three-four months.
Three – palak, simran and kavya, all Delhi residents – not arrested on Monday, police said.
Complaints submitted with Gurgaon Police by the 35-year-old MNC executive – initially from Karnal but at this time a resident of Noida – put the police in the gang trail.
The executive accused him of being captivated at the guesthouse in DLF-3 by a palak and squeezing.
According to his complaint, they met on social media and chatted for several days after they decided the meeting at the guesthouse.
The satisfaction claimed he went to the restroom and found two palm colleagues in the room, which made him strip, took his picture and demanded Rs 1 lakh to delete photos.
When the executive stated his inability to pay, the trio allegedly took his cellphone and forced him to transfer around RS 35,000 through a cellphone wallet into two different accounts.
Based on his complaint, a case was registered at the DLF Phase-3 Police Station below 342 (penalty for wrong confinement), 386 (extortion by placing someone in fear of death or sadness) and 34 (general intentions) IPC.
ACP (crime) Preet Sangwan said the defendant took their signal from a report in the newspaper and began targeting men on social media.
“In some cases, they lured their victims to the guesthouse to record their videos and extort money.
In some cases, they held their victims’ hostages and forced their family members to transfer money for their release.
We have identified three gang members again and tried to Catch them, “Sangwan said.
