Hooch poisoning: 4 more dead in samastipur

PATNA: Hooch death spree continues in Bihar dried with at least four fresh death surfaced from three different villages under the panchayat Rupauli Patori region police station in Samastipur district on Saturday.
Deaths have occurred one after another until midnight Friday but authorities have received instructions on Hooch poisoning by 07:00 on Saturday.
At least 13 people in Gopalganj and 16 people in bettiah in West Champaran has ‘officially’ died due to consumption of poisonous hooch from Wednesday.
Victims in bettiah remains the same but increased to 13 in Gopalganj on Saturday with fresh death.
Overall death count in three incidents stood at 33 until Saturday night.

They are sick and undergoing treatment is Yaduvansh Rai and Deepak Singh.
Both hail from Rupauli Chaksima.
Yaduvansh are under treatment in Samastipur Sadar hospital while Deepak is undergoing treatment at AIIMS-Patna.
Jagannath was rushed to a military hospital in Danapur, Patna on Friday night after falling ill but died later.
When asked, Samastipur SP Manavjit Singh Dhillon told TOI over the phone that the police especially with the assumption that these deaths were of consumption of poisonous hooch.
“There is no other reason that seen before the police for the deaths and illnesses.
