Jaipur: The Chairman of the Minister of Ashok Gehlot has expressed hope that the former Punjab Cm Captain Amrinder Singh will not make any decisions that will damage the party’s prospects.
In a statement on Sunday, Gehlot said captain Singh himself admitted that he was made a major minister for Niend-a-half years by the party and had served the Punjab people with his best abilities.
“Captain Sahab is a respectable leader and I believe that he will continue to maintain the interests of the party above all,” Gehlot said.
Captain Singh resigned along with his minister’s board for the difference with the Head of the Punjab Congress Navjyot Singh Sidhu on Saturday.
The party did not stop him from resigning.
Gehlot said, “On several occasions, high commands must react and respond according to the feedback from MLA and the common people for the benefit of the party.” While maintaining the party’s high command movement, Gehlot said, “I personally feel that the president of Congress chooses CM candidates from many groups in the race to post up.
The president even faces hatred of those who are not chosen for the post.

Urging the congress to stand United, he said, “I believe that fascist troops lead the country towards the direction that gives more responsibility to members of Congress to serve the nation.
We must rise above everything and must think of the party and the nation.”
