Tokyo (Japan): After winning a silver medal at a high jump from Tokyo Paralympics ongoing, Nishad Kumar on Sunday said that he hoped his victory would encourage more athletes to follow their passion.
“I am very happy after winning a silver medal in Tokyo Paralympics.
I want to thank India’s sports authorities and Prime Minister, I get the desired support of everyone.
PCI always helps me.
I am happy after winning the medal,” Nishad said to Ani.

Townsend made a 2.15 m leap while Wise recorded a leap of 2.06 m.
Nishad and thoughtful both were finished with the same sign, but Nishad had crossed a 2.02 mark in his first attempt while Wise took two.
Chahar rampal India finished in fifth place with a leap of 1.94m.
