Hospital 100 Cr grant center for park medical devices

Greater Noida: This center has provided Rs 100 Crore for medical device parks that will appear in 125 hectares in sector 28 of the Yamuna Expressway region.
This park is billed as the first facility in North India.
The similar medical device park has been established in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Until now, the authority of the Yamuna Expressway Industry Development (YEIDA) will establish a public facility center for parks, which will have an incubation center, waste processing plant and so on.
Zone Meditech Visakhapatnam will oversee the detail of the end of the park as a temporary consultant IIT-Kanpur will offer assistance as a knowledge partner.
Park is being established as a center of foreign and domestic pharmaceutical companies for manufacturing diagnostic and surgical equipment and other medical devices, such as radiological CT scans and X-ray machines, BP monitors, ventilators etc.
Only companies that are certified by the Indian medical device industry can submit plots in the park.
The park will accommodate around 250 units at a plot starting at 1,000-4,000 sqmt.
Of these, 124 plots tend to rise to be contested on August 13.
While 10% of the plot will be provided for startup, the selected company will be given subsidies on power, water, bank interest and taxes.
“This center has provided Hospital 100 Crore for the development of medical device garden infrastructure.
The money is for public facilities centers for industrial parks.
Land will be provided by Yeida for free,” said Arun VIR Singh, CEO Yeida.
Singh said the center of public facilities will meet the needs of all industrial units that will appear at 125 hectares.
“At present, we are completing the terms and conditions of the scheme, where, the plot for 124 units will be ready on August 13.
The center of public facilities will have a R & D, incubation center, and waste treatment plant,” Singh said.
Officials target 2023 for the production of medical equipment to start in the park.
Investment worth RS 5,000 Crore is expected in the park and is likely to produce 50,000 jobs.
