NEW DELHI: The government has warned against resorts against offering stay-vaccination bundles following reports that many hospitality industry players had begun coming up with such strategies.
Union health ministry Dr Harsh Vardhan tweeted:”Hotels that offer Covid-19 vaccination bundles shall confront strict legal actions! These actions are in contravention to principles under the federal Covid vaccination plan and have to stop immediately.
” The Union health ministry composed to all countries on Saturday, saying it had come to a note that”several private hospitals would be providing packages for Covid Legislation in cooperation with a few hotels, which will be contrary to (principles ).
” The Centre has pointed out at the correspondence that there are four available choices for vaccination — authorities centers; personal hospitals; in private and government offices and”close to dwelling” centers for older and differently abled.
“Aside from this there’s not any other route to execute (Covid) vaccination.

consequently vaccination (being) performed in star resorts is contrary to guidelines and has to be ceased immediately.
Necessary administrative and legal activities must be initiated against these associations,” the correspondence by Union health ministry added secretary Manohar Agnani states.
