New Delhi: The geographical spread of the Covid-19 hotspot continues to shrink with only 38 districts in this country which now reports more than 100 cases every day, due to 58 districts at the end of July and 108 at the end of June, official data.
The weekly ponytity level also decreases and has been stabilized below 3%.
However, 35 districts – mostly in Kerala, along with several in Himachal Pradesh and northeast – still reporting multipleity of more than 10%.
In addition, 30 districts have the level of participants ranging from 5% and 10%.
About 61% of the total active cases are reported in Kerala, the only country with more than one active case of lakh now.
Officials said the second surge continued even though it was limited to limited areas and public health responses must be guided accordingly, especially considering the upcoming festival season.
This center once again urges people to take precautions and avoid the crowd.
“Distributances where the high level of peposititivity needs to observe the restrictions on the district level until positive is below 5%,” said Director of ICMR Balrava Bhargava.
