Hours before death, the author saw his book released in the ICU

Nagpur: Book release event – maybe the first of the type – held in the ICU from a multispecial hospital in Nagpur.
The author of Subhashini Kukde, who likes to write a short story Marathi, was treated in the new Dande Hospital ICU for severe lung failure.

on Saturday.
The book, who was waiting for a formal release for half a year-and-half because Covid-19, was released by the State Congress of President Nana Patole, MLC Abhijit Wanjari and Mla Vikas Thakre.
Subhashini husband Madhukar Kukde, a senior senior activist and senior political related to the movement of Sanyucta Maharashtra, said it was his desire for the past months and “it proved to be his last hope”.
Kukde remembered how his wife dropped 18 floors while fighting a bad vision and poor lung capacity because of old age.
The book was ready to be released in January 2020.
“We had to postpone the event twice because of the first and second wave of Covid-19.
Meanwhile, Subhashini’s health deteriorated.
He underwent treatment at Dr.
Dande Hospital for the past two months,” Kukde said.
Dr.
Pinak Dande, who look after the patient for months, said Subhashini used to talk about the book whenever he could.
Subhashini is 79 years old and is difficult for doctors to revive the damaged lungs.
“When I said this to her husband, he asked me to wait for some time.
In the next two days, he contacted Nana Patole, who agreed to release the book,” said Dr.
Dande.
The author’s family did his last ritual on Saturday.
