Ludhiana: In the second incident in the last three days, domestic assistance stole Rs 15 Lakh from his employer’s residence in Urban Estate, Dugri.
Cook, rented around two years, alone at home when he opened almirah and escaped with cash on Thursday.
The defendant has been identified as Amar from Nirmal Nagar, Dugri, who is a native of Nepal.Kawaljit Singh, factory owner of Urban Estate Phase-1 Dugri, claiming Amar has worked in their homes for the past two and a half years.
Amar is quite loyal that is why they believe it and often leave it at home.
He said on Thursday, while he was in his factory, his wife was at home.
In the afternoon, his wife went to the market.
A few hours later when he returned, the cook was not at home.
After that he noticed that the key to almirah was damaged and cash was lost.
He called on her husband who was attended by the police informed the defendant.
The police have not checked whether the employer has completed the verification of Amar police.
This is the second incident like that in the last three days.
On Tuesday night, Domestic Assistance Maan Bahadur surged his employer’s food Krishan Kumar with sedatives at BRS Nagar Residence.
When the employer fell unconscious, Maan Bahadur with the help of three unknown hands to take cash and jewelry around Rs 20 lakh from home.
