Ahmedabad: Gujarat High Court on Thursday slammed Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) for his last trip against street carts that sell non-vegetarian food and seizures from such vendor handcart.
“You don’t like non-vegetarian food? It lookout you.
How do you (AMC) decide what should we eat outside?” Asked an angry court.
Judge Biren Vaishnav bombarded Civic’s body advice with the question, “How can you stop people from eating what they want? Suddenly because someone in power thinks that this is what they want you to do? Tomorrow, you will decide what to eat at outside? “” …

“justice Vaishnav rebuked the AMC advisor.
HC explained that AMC could not act on the wing of the selected wing.
“Don’t encourage to satisfy some ego people,” the court warned.
The judge was very angry with AMC after a group of vendor traders approached HC after the Civic body campaign last month to stop selling non-vegetarian food by street vendors.
They mentioned that action as “bigotry” and demanded carts and their kiosks returned to allow them to continue their business.
In his defense, AMC claims there is no discrimination against any group, and their actions are only anti-encroachment and carts confiscated are creating obstacles in the traffic movement and blocking the path.
AMC advice was submitted, “This is a boost against encroachment.
They (the applicant) gave the color of non-vegetarian food.” For this judge replied, “You give color encroachment to remove non-vegetarian vendors.” ‘Don’t act to please a political boss | Page 4 Ahmedabad: Reeling from the idler who was angry by the Gujarat High Court, AMC claimed there was no discrimination against any group during the recent campaign to eliminate food carts and mention their actions ‘only anti-encroachment drive’.

Some vendors move HC after the AMC drive recently where food carts – especially those who sell non-vegetarian food and eggs – removed.

They (the applicant) gave the color of non-vegetarian food items.” For this judge quickly answered, “You give color encroachment to remove non-vegetarian food vendors.” The judge then commented that AMC did it with a guise to implement the law and ask further, “around Lake Vastrapur, the vendor sells eggs and omelet.
You decide because they don’t want people to eat.
Eggs, you will take it and send them and send them away? Day This someone has a nightmare and says that starting tomorrow there will be no sale of non-vegetarian food.
Ask your commissioner to stay present and answer.
How dare you feel indiscriminately.
Like this and seize their assets? “The judge asked Amc to not do a drive like It was to please their political boss, but confirmed that if there was encroachment, it had to go.
AMC stated that this was not the case of choosing a group of snack traders, but only enforced the law.
Judge Vaishnav asked AMC to return the confiscated carts and stalls to the vendor in accordance with the law after receiving their application.
